Set up authenticator

Screen: Settings · Security.

What it is

The gold button shown when you have no authenticator (Not set up). An authenticator is a phone app (Google Authenticator, 1Password, Authy …) that shows a new 6-digit code every few seconds.

What to enter

Click it and follow the steps.

What it changes

For the dealer: A QR code and a key appear. Scan it, then press Enter code. Publishing to customers' homes asks for these codes.

For the home: Nothing. It does not reach any home.

In the app: Nothing.

If it goes wrong

• A red message: set-up could not start; the page reloads your status.
