What it is

The gold Reset button in the Reset authenticator? pop-up. It removes the chosen person's authenticator. Only the owner can do it.

What to enter

Click it. If asked, type the 6-digit code from your own authenticator first.

What it changes

For the dealer: The person loses their current authenticator and must set up a new one on their Security page. Their sign-in is not affected. The reset is recorded (Reset by … on …).

For the home: Nothing. It does not reach any home.

In the app: Nothing.

If it goes wrong

• You are asked for your own code first when you have not proven it in this sign-in. With no authenticator: Set up your own authenticator first (Security).
• Only the account owner can reset an authenticator, Person not found, Could not remove the authenticator.
• Authenticator reset (audit row failed — tell LuxeLife): the reset happened but its record was not saved.
