Set fleet release

What it is

The gold button in the Set fleet release pop-up. Once an image (or a typed version and digest) and a kind are chosen it reads Set v… as the security release or … feature release. It records that image as the fleet release. Only the LuxeLife admin sees this page; a dealer never sees it, and LuxeLife refuses anyone else.

What to enter

Choose the image and the kind first; until then the button is greyed.

What it changes

For the dealer: Hubs that are behind are now offered this version, but no hub moves: each dealer presses Update on their own hubs. The Updates tile shows the new release.

For the home: The hub is offered the update and changes only when its dealer presses Update. A feature release is offered only to hubs in their free year, a paid term or grace; a security release to every hub.

In the app: Nothing changes until the dealer presses Update on a hub.

If it goes wrong

• Not set (HTTP …) — nothing changed or Could not reach LuxeLife — nothing changed.: nothing was recorded.
• The release was not recorded — nothing has changed: LuxeLife could not save it. Try again.
