I ran the installer but the hub still shows the old version. Why?
If the hub's screen still shows an old version (for example v1.0.4) and an old default password line, the new system was not written to its disk. The usual reasons:
- The hub never started from the pendrive. It started its own disk instead. Power on again and choose the USB drive from the boot menu (usually F10 or F12 as it powers on). You should see LuxeLife Hub Provisioner on the screen.
- The pendrive has the plain system file, not the installer. The installer's file name starts with
luxelife-nuc-flasher-. Download it again from the portal (Projects → Image for a new box → Download installer) and write the pendrive again. - The installer stopped with a message. It stops without writing anything if the file on the pendrive is damaged, or if the hub's disk is smaller than 32 GB, and it says so on the screen. Make the pendrive again from a fresh download, or use a hub with a larger disk.
Download the installer again
After a successful install the screen shows the new version, the hub's own password and Licensed: NOT YET.
