Type (light)

Screen: Room Devices (step 5 of 7) — a row of the Lights card.

What it is

The kind of light: Spot, Lamp and the other light types. It sets the light's picture.

What to enter

Pick the type that matches the fitting. New lights start as Spot.

What it changes

In the house: The project saves this by itself. It reaches the house and the phones at the next Save & Deploy. The hub does not use the type.

In the app: The light's tile shows the type's icon.

If it goes wrong

• Wrong picture on the tile: pick the right type and deploy again.
