TV MAC address (wake-on-LAN)

Screen: Room Devices — a room's TV & audio card.

What it is

The MAC address (wake-on-LAN) box. It shows only when the TV is controlled by Network.

What to enter

The TV's network address, six pairs like AA:BB:CC:DD:EE:FF, from the TV's network settings.

What it changes

In the house: The project saves this by itself. At the next Save & Deploy, for an LG or Samsung TV, the hub uses it to wake the TV over the network when it is off.

In the app: Nothing on screen changes.

If it goes wrong

• A wrong or empty address: an LG or Samsung TV that is fully off may not turn on from the app.
• For a Sony TV the hub's settings do not carry this address, so it has no effect on the hub.
