✕ Return to unassigned (light or curtain)

What it is

The ✕ at the end of an imported light or curtain row while editing. Its tooltip says Return to unassigned.

What to enter

Press it to take the device out of its room.

What it changes

In the app: The device leaves the app at the next Save & Deploy.

In the house: The hub's KNX address list is rebuilt from the imported devices at the next Save & Deploy.

If it goes wrong

If the change takes a device out of the home, a box asks first and lists what would be retired; press Cancel there to undo the change. A retired device's identity is never given out again.
