Address slot (imported light)

What it is

One address box on an imported light row while editing, labelled with its job (for example switch, status, brightness). A red box with a warning means the address's ETS data type does not fit that slot.

What to enter

A KNX group address (x/x/x). Retyping an address keeps the device's identity (a rebind).

What it changes

In the app: The light's control in the app uses the new address at the next Save & Deploy.

In the house: The hub's KNX address list is rebuilt from the imported devices at the next Save & Deploy.

If it goes wrong

A red warning means the address is likely in the wrong slot; check it in ETS. If the change takes a device out of the home, a box asks first and lists what would be retired; press Cancel there to undo the change. A retired device's identity is never given out again.
