Address (Connect)

What it is

The network address of the TV, amplifier or source.

What to enter

Its fixed address on the house network, for example 192.168.1.40. Give the device a fixed address in the router.

What it changes

In the house: At Connect it is saved; at the next Save & Deploy the hub talks to the device at this address. Connecting a source with an address also sets it to be controlled over the network. An empty address means the hub does not talk to it.

In the app: The TV, amplifier or source controls in the app work through this address.

If it goes wrong

• A wrong address: the device does not respond. An address that is not a valid one is marked red and Connect does not save it. Fix the address, then press Connect again.
• If the device's address changes, the app loses it. Fix the address in the router.
