Port typed by hand (hub)

What it is

A box for the hub's port, typed by hand, next to the typed address.

What to enter

A port number. The capture shows 9000. Leave it unless told otherwise.

What it changes

In the house: It is written into the hub's settings at Save & Deploy.

In the app: Used with the typed address as the app's first guess.

If it goes wrong

• A wrong port means the app's first guess fails; the app then asks the cloud.
