Gateway IP (KNX)

What it is

The Gateway IP box at the top of the KNX tab. The same value is also on the Project & Bridge step.

What to enter

The IP address of the KNX IP gateway or router on the home's network, for example 192.168.1.50.

What it changes

In the app: Nothing the owner sees directly; the app's KNX lights, curtains and ACs work through the hub.

In the house: The hub connects to this address to reach the KNX bus at the next Save & Deploy. With no address, the hub gets no KNX module at all. The address is also listed in the Homeowner Guide.

If it goes wrong

If KNX devices do not respond after a deploy, check this address from the hub's network. Two hubs should not use the same KNX gateway.
