+ Add scene

Screen: Room Devices (step 5 of 7) — Scenes card.

What it is

The + Add scene button at the top of the room's Scenes card. It adds a new hub scene to the room.

What to enter

1. Press + Add scene.
2. A new column appears, named after the first scene name the room does not use yet (for example Bright), or Scene N if all are used.
3. The Choose an icon box opens. Pick an icon, or press Close.
4. Type a level for each light in the new column.

What it changes

In the house: At the next Save & Deploy the hub gets the scene with its light levels. The hub sets each listed light when the scene runs, KNX and Crestron lights alike.

In the app: After the next Save & Deploy the scene shows as a button in the room's scene bar.

If it goes wrong

• A scene with no levels does nothing when pressed. Type a level for at least one light.
• If a name is already used in the room, the configurator picks another one; rename it with the name box.
