Show (PIN)

Screen: Users (step 2 of 7).

What it is

The Show link next to a person's PIN. It shows the PIN for 10 seconds.

What to enter

Click Show. You may be asked for your authenticator code once per sign-in.

What it changes

In the house: Nothing. Showing a PIN does not change it.

In the app: Nothing changes in the app. The show is noted: the screen says who viewed the PIN and when.

If it goes wrong

• Not shown — showing a PIN needs your authenticator code: enter your authenticator code.
• This project is not bound to a home yet, so a saved PIN cannot be shown: bind the project first (Deploy step).
• This PIN was set before PINs were kept...: use Change to set a new PIN, then it can be shown.
• Only someone editing this project can show a PIN: open the project for editing, not view only.
• Sign in again to show a PIN: sign in again.
• Can’t show the PIN right now: try again later. No fake PIN is ever shown.
