What it is

The name box of each room row. A small tag Inside: <room> under it means this room is a sub-room.

What to enter

The room name the owner will see, for example Master Bedroom. Each room must have its own name.

What it changes

In the app: The app shows this name on the room tile at the next Save & Deploy. Scenes and devices keep working after a rename because rooms are kept by their own id, not by name.

In the house: The hub uses the room name to make its room keys in the hub's settings, so a rename changes the hub's settings at the next Save & Deploy.

If it goes wrong

If two rooms have the same name, the second box turns red with a message, and Save & Deploy is off until one of them is renamed. If a name you used before now belongs to another room, a banner explains it and Show me points at the two rooms.
