Join box (On / Off / Level)
Screen: Room Devices (step 5 of 7) — the open joins of a Crestron light (and other Crestron devices).
What it is
A box for one Crestron join number. On a light: On join (digital), Off join (digital) and Level join (analog). Feedback comes back on the same joins.
What to enter
The join number from the SIMPL program. Leave the Level join empty for a light with no dimmer. Numbers 11000 to 12999 are kept for KNX.
What it changes
In the house: The project saves this by itself. It reaches the house and the phones at the next Save & Deploy. The hub presses these joins on the processor.
In the app: The tile presses On and Off, and the slider sends Level. A light marked not Dimmable gets no slider even with a Level join.
If it goes wrong
- A refused number shows a red line under the box: 11000 to 12999, a dim join of 0, or a number above what the processor's module takes. The box is not saved.
- The same join used elsewhere on the same processor opens This join is already used.
- The configurator cannot tell if the processor has the new Link module. Ask the SIMPL programmer before using a join above the old limit (ADR-0066).
