Generic IR control joins

Screen: Room Devices — Generic IR receiver amplifier and its IR box.

What it is

The join boxes on the Controls tab: Power, Power On, Power Off, Vol +, Vol −, Mute, Mute feedback (optional), Volume bar (analog, optional).

What to enter

The join numbers from the SIMPL program. Leave a box empty if the receiver has no such key.

What it changes

In the house: Kept until Done. At the next Save & Deploy: the app's volume and mute keys press these joins; power is pressed by the room's power sequence (separate Power On / Off if given, else Power as a toggle). The Volume bar join gives the app a bar (0–65535 shown as 0–100).

In the app: No Volume bar join: the app shows Vol + / − only.

If it goes wrong

• Every box empty and no source join: nothing is sent.
• To switch the receiver on with the TV, add an Amplifier step to the room's power sequence.
