Fan group address (KNX)

Screen: Room Devices (step 5 of 7) — Air conditioning card, a fan's open addresses.

What it is

Four lists — On / off, On / off status, Speed, Speed status — each a group address from the project's ETS import. A fan that came from the import is greyed here; change it in Device Import.

What to enter

Pick the group address for each part. Leave a part on — pick a group address — if the fan does not have it.

What it changes

In the house: The project saves this by itself. The address's type is kept with it; picking a speed address also sets the speed type (5.001 or 5.010). At the next Save & Deploy the hub drives the fan on these addresses.

In the app: The fan on the AC tile switches and changes speed through these addresses.

If it goes wrong

• not in the import after an address: it is kept, but no longer in the ETS import. Check it.
• If the speed jumps or does not change, check the speed address and its type in ETS.
