HTTPS

What it is

The switch for a secure link between the hub and the door phone. It is on for a new door.

What to enter

Leave it on. Turn it off only for a door phone that cannot use HTTPS.

What it changes

In the house: Nothing changes until you press Done in the box and then Save & Deploy. Then the hub gets the door with its new value. With HTTPS off, the hub talks to the door phone over plain HTTP and never opens the door.

In the app: With HTTPS off, Open is never offered. The bell and calls still work.

If it goes wrong

• Secure shows HTTP — Open refused while it is off.
• Record now asks you to turn HTTPS on first.
