Learn (set-top box IR code)

Screen: Room Devices — IR box of a set-top box or TV sent by a Global Caché unit.

What it is

The Learn link next to one button (for example Power or Channel up) in the IR box.

What to enter

1. Press Learn next to the button.
2. Paste the learned code in the strip that opens.
3. Press Keep code, then Done.

What it changes

In the house: Opens the Learn strip for that button. The code is saved when the box's Done is pressed and reaches the hub at the next Save & Deploy. A source with no good code at all is not sent to the hub.

In the app: The button in the app's remote sends the learned code through the Global Caché.

If it goes wrong

• The cell shows missing, bad code, ✓ code or learned.
• If a button in the app does nothing, the app reports tv button not sent with the reason; learn that button again.
