IR port (AC)

Screen: Room Devices — air conditioner card, System = IR.

What it is

The IR output the emitter for this AC is plugged into: Port 1–3 on a Global Caché, IR 1–8 on Crestron.

What to enter

Pick the port the emitter is wired to.

What it changes

In the house: Saved in the project at once. It reaches the house and the phones at the next Save & Deploy. For a Global Caché the hub sends each code on this port. For Crestron the port is kept in the project only: the hub presses the join, and the processor's own program decides which IR port fires.

In the app: Nothing shows in the app.

If it goes wrong

• Global Caché, wrong port: the app shows the AC as set, but the AC does not react. Check which port the emitter is on.
• This is the IR port, not a CoolMaster port. A CoolMaster AC's port is set on Device Import and is sent to the hub at Save & Deploy.
