Guest PIN

What it is

The PIN box on the Guest card. The guest is A shared PIN for visitors.

What to enter

Exactly 4 digits. Leave it empty if the home has no guest.

What it changes

In the house: The guest's PIN code (scrambled) goes to the hub at Save & Deploy. The guest can use only the rooms ticked for Guest on the Rooms screen. A guest never connects from outside the home.

In the app: Visitors sign in to the app with this shared PIN. It is also in the Homeowner Guide. A guest's phone stays approved for 7 days, then needs a new code.

If it goes wrong

• Emptying the box removes the guest completely. To back out of a change, use Cancel instead.
• Fewer than 4 digits: the PIN is not set.
