Where: App → TV → Pair Apple TV box

What it is

One of four boxes for the 4-digit code the Apple TV shows.

Steps

1. Look at the TV for the 4-digit code.
2. Type the digits; each box takes one and moves to the next.

What it changes

Nothing until you press Pair.

If it goes wrong

Only digits are taken. If the code doesn’t match, the message says That code didn’t match. The TV shows a new code. — enter the new code from the TV.
